To reset the "Perform Service" notification on the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, follow these steps:

1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine.

2. Press and hold the "Trip Reset" button on the instrument panel until "OIL CHANGE" appears on the display.

3. Release the "Trip Reset" button and press it again to cycle through the different service reminder options.
