- A fuel tank repair kit

1. Remove the fuel tank. Drain the fuel tank and disconnect the fuel line and electrical components. Remove the bolts holding the fuel tank in place and lift it off the motorcycle.
2. Clean the fuel tank. Use the wire brush to remove any dirt or rust from the fuel tank. Sand the area around the hole to create a smooth surface for the patch.
3. Degrease the fuel tank. Use the degreaser to remove any oil or grease from the fuel tank.
4. Apply the sealant. Use the sealant to seal the hole in the fuel tank. Make sure to apply the sealant evenly and let it dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Install the fuel tank. Reinstall the fuel tank on the motorcycle and reconnect the fuel line and electrical components. Fill the fuel tank with gas and test for leaks.
6. Use the kit:
- Place the patch over the hole in the tank.
- Ensure that the patch is centered and that the adhesive is evenly distributed.
- Press the patch firmly into place.
- Use a weight or clamp to hold the patch in place while it dries.
- Let the patch dry completely before moving on.
- Once the patch is dry, you can use a paintbrush to apply a layer of sealant over the patch.
7. Reinstall the fuel tank. Once the sealant is dry, you can reinstall the fuel tank on the motorcycle.
