1. Park the ATV on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the rear brake adjuster, which is located on the left side of the ATV, just below the rear brake lever.
3. Use a 10mm wrench to turn the adjuster nut clockwise to tighten the rear brakes, and counterclockwise to loosen them.
4. While turning the adjuster nut, repeatedly depress and release the rear brake lever to ensure that the brakes are properly adjusted.
5. Once the rear brakes are adjusted, test them by riding the ATV and applying the brakes firmly. The brakes should engage smoothly and firmly without any grabiness or squeaking.
6. If necessary, make additional adjustments to the rear brakes until you are satisfied with their performance.
