1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical accidents from happening while you are working on the transmission.
2. Remove the transmission fluid. This will make the transmission easier to remove and prevent it from leaking fluid all over the place.
3. Remove the exhaust pipe. This will give you more room to work on the transmission.
4. Remove the drive shaft. This will disconnect the transmission from the wheels.
5. Remove the transmission mount bolts. These bolts hold the transmission in place on the frame of the vehicle.
6. Lower the transmission. Once the mount bolts are removed, you can carefully lower the transmission out of the vehicle.
Be careful not to drop the transmission, as it is heavy and could cause injury.
You may need to use a transmission jack or a helper to lower the transmission safely.
Once the transmission is removed, you can inspect it for damage and replace any worn or damaged parts.
