2. Remove the engine from the sled.
>-Disconnect the fuel line, coolant lines, and electrical connections from the engine
>-Remove the exhaust system
>-Remove the engine mounts and lift the engine out of the sled
3. Disassemble the engine.
>-Remove the cylinder head
>-Remove the pistons and connecting rods
4. Install the new pistons and piston rings.
- Compress the piston rings before installing them on the pistons.
- Install the pistons and connecting rods back into the engine and insert the wrist pin circlips.
5. Install the new head gasket and base gasket.
- Make sure the head gasket and base gasket are seated properly.
6. Reassemble the engine.
>- Install the cylinder head
>- Reconnect the fuel line, coolant lines, and electrical connections
>-Reinstall the exhaust system
7. Start the engine and check for leaks.
- Let the engine warm up for a few minutes before checking for leaks.
8. Reinstall the engine into the sled.
