Ensure the vehicle is in park, the engine is off, and the parking brake is on.
Locate the service light reset button. This is usually located in the instrument cluster, near the speedometer or tachometer.
Press and hold the service light reset button until the service light turns off. This may take a few seconds.
Release the service light reset button.
Turn on the engine. The service light should remain off.
If the service light does not turn off after following these steps, there may be an underlying issue with the vehicle that needs to be addressed.
