1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the head restraint release levers on the back of the front seats.
3. Pull up on the release levers and lift the head restraints up until they are fully extended.
4. Hold the head restraints in the fully extended position for a few seconds.
5. Release the release levers and allow the head restraints to lower back into place.
6. Verify that the head restraints are properly reset by pushing down on them with your hand. They should not move or click.
If the head restraints do not reset properly, you may need to take your car to a Mercedes-Benz dealership or authorized service center for assistance.
