Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
Open the trunk.
Locate the license plate light assembly on the inside of the trunk lid.
Use a flat-head screwdriver or other thin tool to pry open the lens cover on the license plate light assembly.
Once the lens cover is removed, you will see the light bulb.
Twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the socket.
Insert the new bulb into the socket and twist it clockwise to secure it.
Replace the lens cover on the license plate light assembly.
Close the trunk.
