• Turn your car’s key to the “On” position and leave it there for 15 minutes.
• At the end of this 15 minute period, turn your car’s key to the “Off” position.
• Now that your car’s key has been in both positions, you may take it out.
• Wait 10 seconds.
• Repeat the first three steps.
• Following your second completion of these first three steps, you can now turn your car key “On”. The red blinking light of your immobilizer system should stop blinking. If the red blinking light is not present while in the “On” position of your car’s ignition, then the immobilizer system has been successfully reset.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be necessary to take the vehicle to a qualified auto technician for diagnosis and repair.
