Here are the steps to remove the CD changer:
1. Open the trunk of your X5.
2. Locate the CD changer on the right side of the trunk. It is a black box with a slot for inserting CDs.
3. Use the Torx screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the CD changer in place.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the CD changer.
5. Use the CD case extraction tool to remove the CDs from the changer.
6. Carefully lift the CD changer out of the trunk.
Once the CD changer is removed, you can replace it with a new one or simply leave the space empty.
