1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is usually a clear plastic container with a black cap.
4. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
5. Look inside the reservoir and you will see a small black switch. This is the brake switch.
6. To remove the brake switch, simply press down on the tab on the side of the switch and pull it out.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake switch.
8. Install the new brake switch in the reverse order of removal.
9. Test the brake switch by applying pressure to the brake pedal. The brake lights should come on.
10. Close the hood of your car and you are finished.
