Installing the New Brake Light:
- Connect the electrical connector to the new brake light.
- Place the new brake light into the housing on the trunk lid and gently press until it snaps into place.
- Test the brake light by pressing the brake pedal and checking that the light comes on.
Additional considerations:
- Be mindful not to damage the paint on the trunk lid while prying the housing off.
- Some models may require you to remove the trunk liner to access the third brake light assembly.
- If the new brake light doesn't work properly, check for proper connections or refer to the vehicle's manual.
