How do you adjust the linkage on thewastegate actuator gt28rs?

Adjusting the Linkage on a GT28RS Wastegate Actuator

1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.

2. Allow the engine and exhaust to cool down completely.

3. Locate the wastegate actuator on your GT28RS turbocharger. It is located on the exhaust manifold side of the turbocharger, and is usually black or gray in color.

4. Find the clevis pin that connects the wastegate actuator to the wastegate arm. The clevis pin is a small, metal pin that passes through the end of the wastegate arm and into the actuator.

5. Use a pair of pliers or a screwdriver to remove the clevis pin. Be careful not to drop the clevis pin.

6. Adjust the position of the clevis pin on the wastegate arm. The closer the clevis pin is to the turbocharger, the more boost pressure the wastegate will allow to pass through. The further the clevis pin is from the turbocharger, the less boost pressure the wastegate will allow to pass through.

7. Once you have adjusted the position of the clevis pin, reinstall it through the end of the wastegate arm and into the actuator.

8. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.

9. **Gently apply boost pressure to the turbocharger by opening the throttle. The boost pressure should increase as the RPMs increase.

10. Adjust the position of the clevis pin as necessary to achieve the desired boost pressure.

Note: If you are unsure of how to adjust the linkage on your wastegate actuator, it is best to consult with a qualified mechanic.
