1. Open the hood of your car.
2. Locate the plastic engine cover. It is usually located at the top of the engine, and is held in place by a few plastic clips.
3. Use a screwdriver or other thin tool to pry up the plastic clips and release the engine cover.
4. Once the clips are released, you can lift the engine cover off of the engine.
5. To reinstall the engine cover, simply align the clips with the holes in the cover and press down until the clips snap into place.
