What would you use to glue or repair cracks in a plastic cartop carrier?

For small surface cracks:

1. Sand down the cracked area with 180 grit sandpaper.

2. Wipe clean the surface with a damp cloth.

3. Apply epoxy glue or PVC cement to the crack.

4. Clamp the crack closed or weigh it down with a heavy object.

5. Allow the glue to cure according to the package instructions.

For larger cracks or holes:

1. Cut a piece of plastic sheeting large enough to cover the crack or hole.

2. Apply epoxy glue or PVC cement to the crack or hole.

3. Press the plastic sheeting over the crack or hole.

4. Clamp the plastic sheeting in place or weigh it down with a heavy object.

5. Allow the glue to cure according to the package instructions.

Additional tips:

* Use a plastic welder instead of glue for a more durable repair.

* Be sure to clean and dry the area before applying glue or plastic sheeting.

* Apply glue or plastic sheeting evenly to create a smooth surface.

* Clamp or weigh down the repair until the glue has fully cured.
