1. Park the tractor on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Remove the two bolts that hold the brake pedal in place.
3. Pull the brake pedal out of the way.
4. Locate the brake adjustment nut on the bottom of the brake lever.
5. Turn the adjustment nut clockwise until the brake shoes make contact with the brake drums.
6. Push the brake pedal back into place and install the two bolts.
7. Test the brakes by applying pressure to the brake pedal. The tractor should come to a stop smoothly and without any jerking or grabbing.
If the brakes are still not working properly, you may need to replace the brake shoes or brake drums.
