1. Turn off the ignition and open the hood.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Ensure that the headlights are off and the hood closed.
4. Let the vehicle sit for at least 30 seconds to allow the computer to reset.
5. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
6. Turn on the ignition to restart the vehicle.
The computer reset is complete, and all of the system codes should have been cleared.
