Re-set maintenance code for 1998 s420?

To reset the maintenance code on a 1998 Mercedes-Benz S420, follow these steps:

1. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position.

2. Press and hold the "Trip Reset" button on the left side of the speedometer.

3. While holding the "Trip Reset" button, turn the ignition key to the "Off" position.

4. Release the "Trip Reset" button.

5. Turn the ignition key back to the "On" position.

The maintenance code should now be reset.
