WARNING! Before raising vehicle remove the hand brake and jack up wheels and place axle stand under front wheels so that car cannot move, disconnect battery, and drain gas from tank.
1. Remove the wheels.
2. Disconnect the brake line from the axle.
3. Disconnect the brake lines near the rear hubs and plug them with rubber plugs.
4. Unbolt the rear shock absorbers.
5. Support the differential and remove the U-bolts that hold the differential to the leaf springs.
6. Lower the differential and remove it from the car.
