Instructions:

1. Park: Park your vehicle on a flat surface and turn off the engine.

2. Brake: Set the parking brake on.

3. Loosen Lug Nuts: Use the lug wrench to loosen, but do not remove, the lug nuts on the wheel that needs the new wheel bearing.

4. Jack Up the Vehicle: Use the floor jack to lift the vehicle high enough so that you can easily remove the wheel. Make sure the floor jack is stable and positioned on a solid part of the vehicle. Place the jack stands under the vehicle for extra safety so it does not fall while the tire is off. Ensure the jack stands are stable and in a proper position to hold up the vehicle.

5. Remove Lug Nuts: Use the lug wrench to remove the lug nuts from the wheel that needs the new wheel bearing.

6. Remove Wheel: Pull the wheel straight toward you to remove it.

7. Remove Brake Caliper: Remove the bolts holding the brake caliper in place and then remove the brake caliper.

8. Remove Brake Rotor: Remove the bolts holding the brake rotor in place and then remove the brake rotor.

9. Remove Axle Nut: Remove the axle nut holding the bearing hub assembly. There may or may not be a castle nut underneath.

10. Remove Hub: Use a slide hammer to remove the bearing hub assembly. Be sure to catch any loose parts as they may fall out of the hub assembly bearing bore during its removal.

11. Replace the Wheel Bearing Assembly: Using a brass drift, driver punch or block of wood and hammer, tap the new bearing hub assembly into the vehicle.

12. Reposition Brake Rotor and Caliper: Replace the brake rotor and brake caliper. Reinstall the bolts that held caliper and rotor in place.

13. Insert and Tighten Axle Nut: Make sure the castle nut is sitting securely in the axle shaft groove and tighten the axle nut until it is snug.

14. Reinstall the Wheel: Place the wheel back on the vehicle.

15. Replace Lug Nuts: Hand tighten the lug nuts first and then tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern using a lug wrench.

16. Lower Vehicle: Use the floor jack to lower the vehicle.

17. Test Drive: Take your vehicle for a test drive to make sure the new wheel bearing is working properly.
