1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Remove the lug nuts and wheels from the vehicle.
3. Remove the brake calipers from the vehicle by removing the two caliper mounting bolts.
4. Remove the old brake rotors from the vehicle by removing the two rotor mounting bolts.
5. Clean the rotor hub surface and the mating surface of the caliper bracket.
6. Install the new brake rotors on the vehicle by inserting them into the rotor hub surface and securing them with the two rotor mounting bolts.
7. Reinstall the brake calipers on the vehicle by inserting them into the caliper mounting brackets and securing them with the two caliper mounting bolts.
8. Reinstall the wheels and lug nuts on the vehicle.
9. Test the brakes by applying them several times.
Once the new brake rotors are installed, it's important to properly break them in. This can be done by driving for the first 500 miles and avoiding harsh braking. During this period, the new rotors will develop a glaze and the brake pads will conform to the rotor surface, providing optimal braking performance.
