1. Park your vehicle in a well-lit area and turn off the engine. Allow the vehicle to cool down if it has been running.
2. Open the hood of your vehicle. Locate the headlight assembly that you need to remove.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight assembly. To do this, press the release tab on the connector and pull it straight off.
4. Remove the four bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place. These bolts are located around the perimeter of the headlight assembly.
5. Once the bolts are removed, carefully remove the headlight assembly from the vehicle. Be careful not to drop the headlight assembly.
6. Place the headlight assembly on a clean, flat surface. Remove the lens from the headlight assembly by carefully prying it off with a flat-head screwdriver.
7. Once the lens is removed, you will have access to the wiring inside the headlight assembly. Inspect the wiring for any damage or loose connections. If you find any damaged or loose wires, repair or reconnect them as necessary.
8. Once you have repaired or reconnected the wiring, reattach the lens to the headlight assembly. Press the lens firmly into place until it snaps into place.
9. Reinstall the headlight assembly into the vehicle. Secure it in place with the four bolts that you removed earlier.
10. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the headlight assembly.
11. Close the hood of your vehicle and test the headlight assembly to make sure that it is working properly.
