Step 1: Insert your car key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
Step 2: You will see a red LED light blinking on your dashboard.
Step 3: Press and hold your emergency/flashlight button for approximately five seconds or more until the red LED on the dashboard stops completely and goes dark.
Step 4: Turn the ignition to the "OFF" position.
Step 5: Within five seconds, insert the key again and turn the ignition to the "ON" position to start your engine.
