1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Locate the windshield washer fluid reservoir. It is usually a translucent plastic container located near the front of the car, on the driver's side.
3. Remove the cap from the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
4. Use a siphon or turkey baster to remove as much windshield washer fluid from the reservoir as you can.
5. Locate the windshield washer motor. It is usually mounted to the bottom of the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield washer motor.
7. Remove the bolts that hold the windshield washer motor in place. There should be two or three bolts.
8. Remove the windshield washer motor from the car.
9. Inspect the windshield washer motor for damage. If it is damaged, you will need to replace it.
10. To install the new windshield washer motor, simply reverse the steps outlined above.
11. Be sure to test the windshield washer system before you put the car back together.
