1. Turn the engine off and ensure that the vehicle is parked.
2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
3. Locate the odometer/trip meter reset button on the instrument panel. It is usually a small button located near the speedometer.
4. Press and hold the odometer/trip meter reset button for about 5 seconds until the maintenance light starts to flash or the "Maintenance Required" message is displayed.
5. Once the light starts flashing or the message is displayed, release the button.
6. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and then back to the "ON" position.
7. The oil change light should now be reset.
8. Start the engine and verify that the oil change light is off.
If the oil change light does not reset after following these steps, you may need to take your vehicle to a Toyota dealership or a qualified auto repair shop to have it reset.
