How do you replace the rear shocks on a 2001 cateria?

Tools and Materials:

- Jack and jack stands

- Socket set

- Wrench set

- Screwdriver

- Pliers

- New rear shocks

Procedure:

1. Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Loosen the lug nuts on the rear wheels, then raise the car with a jack and support it on jack stands.

3. Remove the rear wheels.

4. Locate the bolts holding the shocks in place. There will be two bolts at the top of the shock and one at the bottom.

5. Use a wrench or ratchet to remove the bolts holding the shocks in place.

6. Carefully lower the shock from the car.

7. Remove any old shock mounts from the top and bottom of the shock.

8. Install the new shock mounts on the top and bottom of the shock.

9. Carefully raise the shock into place and insert the bolts.

10. Tighten the bolts until the shock is snugly in place.

11. Repeat steps 5-9 on the other side of the car.

12. Lower the car off the jack stands and reinstall the wheels.

13. Tighten the lug nuts.

14. Test drive the car and make sure that the suspension is working properly.
