1. Make sure all doors, hood and trunk are closed.
2. Insert the key in the driver’s side door lock cylinder.
3. Turn the key to the ‘Unlock’ position and hold it there for 10 seconds.
4. Turn the key to the ‘Lock’ position and hold it there for 10 seconds.
5. Release the key.
6. Wait 30 seconds.
7. Try to open the driver’s side door. If the alarm does not sound, the reset is successful.
If the alarm still sounds after following these steps, there may be a problem with the alarm system and it may be necessary to take the vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.
