2. Press the gas pedal all the way to the floor and hold it down for 15 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition key to the "Off" position and release the gas pedal.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position and then start the engine.
The check engine light should now be reset.
If the check engine light does not reset, there may be a more serious problem with your vehicle that requires professional diagnosis and repair.
