1. Park your Ranger in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your Ranger.
3. Locate the belt tensioner. It is located on the front of the engine, near the top.
4. Loosen the bolt that holds the tensioner in place.
5. Use a pry bar to pry the tensioner away from the belt.
6. Remove the belt from the tensioner.
7. Remove the tensioner from the engine.
To reinstall the belt tensioner, simply reverse the steps above. Be sure to tighten the bolt that holds the tensioner in place securely.
