1. Park the truck on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2.Locate the drain plug on the oil pan. It is typically located on the bottom of the pan, near the rear of the engine.
3. Place an oil drain pan under the drain plug to catch the oil.
4. Use a wrench to loosen the drain plug. Be careful not to drop the bolt into the oil pan.
5. Allow the oil to drain completely from the pan.
6. Once the oil has drained, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.
7. Dispose of the old oil properly.
