How to Remove Taillight Assembly on 1997 Tahoe once screws have been removed.

1. Locate the taillight assembly. The taillight assembly is located on the rear of the vehicle, on either side of the license plate.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector. The electrical connector is located on the back of the taillight assembly. Disconnect it by pressing down on the release tab and pulling the connector straight out.

3. Remove the taillight assembly. Once the electrical connector is disconnected, you can remove the taillight assembly by pulling it straight out from the vehicle.

Here are some additional tips for removing the taillight assembly on a 1997 Tahoe:

* Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the plastic tabs that hold the taillight assembly in place.

* Be careful not to drop the taillight assembly.

* If the taillight assembly is difficult to remove, you may need to use a penetrating oil to loosen it up.
