How do you remove a door panel of 2002 Jeep Liberty?

Tools and Materials:

- Phillips-head screwdriver

- Trim removal tool

- Socket wrench with extension

- 10 mm socket

- T30 Torx bit

Instructions:

1. Open the door and remove the courtesy light lens. Use a trim removal tool to pry the lens off.

2. Unscrew the two Phillips-head screws that hold the door panel in place. One is located behind the courtesy light lens, and the other is located in the bottom corner of the door panel.

3. Remove the door handle bezel. Insert a trim removal tool into the seam between the bezel and the door panel and pry the bezel off.

4. Unscrew the two T30 Torx screws that hold the door handle in place. The screws are located on the back of the door handle.

5. Remove the door handle. Pull the door handle straight out of the door panel.

6. Disconnect the electrical connectors behind the door handle. There are two connectors: one for the power window switch and one for the door lock switch.

7. Remove the door panel. Once all the screws and connectors are disconnected, you can lift the door panel off the door. Be careful not to drop the door panel.

To reinstall the door panel, follow these steps in reverse order.
