How do remove the front rotors on a 1997 Grand Marquis?

Tools Needed:

- Lug wrench

- Jack and jack stands

- 15mm socket and ratchet

- Torx T-30 socket and ratchet

Instructions:

1.) Loosen the lug nuts, but do not remove them.

2.) Raise the front of your vehicle using a jack and place jack stands under it to support the vehicle. Make sure the vehicle is stable and properly secured.

3.) Remove the lug nuts and take the wheel off.

4.) Using the 15mm socket and ratchet, remove the two bolts holding the caliper bracket to the steering knuckle.

5.) Remove the caliper bracket and caliper assembly from the rotor. Be careful not to let the caliper hang by the brake line.

6.) Unscrew the two Torx T-30 screws that hold the rotor to the hub assembly.

7.) Remove the rotor from the hub assembly.

Repeat these steps for the other front wheel.
