Instructions:
1. Park your truck on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Chock the wheels to prevent the truck from rolling.
3. Raise the rear of the truck using a jack and jack stands.
4. Remove the wheels.
5. Remove the brake calipers and rotors.
6. Remove the differential cover bolts and remove the cover.
7. Remove the C-clip from the axle shaft and slide the axle shaft out of the housing.
8. Use a seal puller to remove the old axle seal from the housing.
9. Clean the axle housing where the old seal was installed.
10. Apply a bead of Permatex Gasket Maker around the new axle seal.
11. Install the new axle seal into the housing.
12. Use a seal driver to tap the new axle seal into place until it is flush with the housing.
13. Install the C-clip on the axle shaft and slide the axle shaft back into the housing.
14. Install the brake calipers and rotors.
15. Install the wheels.
16. Lower the truck.
17. Fill the differential with new fluid.
