1. Turn off the vehicle and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Locate the diagnostic port under the dashboard, usually near the steering column.
3. Connect a diagnostic scanner to the port.
4. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the vehicle.
5. Scroll through the scanner menu until you find the "SRS" (Supplemental Restraint System) option.
6. Select the "Reset SRS" option and follow the on-screen instructions.
7. Once the airbag light has been reset, turn off the ignition and disconnect the scanner.
Note: If the airbag light does not reset, or if it comes back on after a short time, there may be a problem with the airbag system. In this case, you should have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic.
