1. Park your Sienna on a level surface and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the two Phillips-head screws that hold the license plate light assembly in place. They are located on the underside of the rear hatch, just below the license plate.
3. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen and remove the two screws.
4. Gently pry the license plate light assembly out of the rear hatch. Be careful not to drop the light assembly.
5. Remove the old light bulb from the socket by turning it counterclockwise.
6. Insert the new light bulb into the socket and turn it clockwise until it is snug.
7. Replace the license plate light assembly in the rear hatch and secure it with the two Phillips-head screws.
8. Test the new light bulb by turning on the headlights. The license plate light should now be illuminated.
