To remove the door panels from a 1994 Nissan Hardbody, follow these steps:
1. Remove the door sill cover.
- The door sill cover is located at the bottom of the door panel.
- Use a plastic trim removal tool or flat head screwdriver to carefully pry it up from one end.
- Work along the edge of the sill cover, removing the clips that hold it in place.
- Once all the clips are removed, lift off the door sill cover.
2. Remove the door handle bezel.
- The door handle bezel is located around the door handle.
- Use a plastic trim removal tool or flat head screwdriver to pry up the bezel.
- There are four clips that hold the bezel in place.
- Once all the clips are removed, lift off the door handle bezel.
3. Remove the door lock bezel.
- The door lock bezel is located around the door lock.
- Use a plastic trim removal tool or flat head screwdriver to pry up the bezel.
- There are four clips that hold the bezel in place.
- Once all the clips are removed, lift off the door lock bezel.
4. Remove the window crank handle.
- The window crank handle is located on the door panel.
- Use a plastic trim removal tool or flat head screwdriver to pry up the handle from one end.
- Work along the edge of the handle, removing the clips that hold it in place.
- Once all the clips are removed, lift off the window crank handle.
5. Remove the door panel screws.
- There are two door panel screws located on the door panel.
- One is located near the top of the panel and the other is located near the bottom.
- Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the screws.
6. Remove the door panel.
- Once all the screws are removed, carefully pry up the door panel from one end.
- Work around the edge of the panel, removing the clips that hold it in place.
- If the door panel is difficult to remove, you can use a plastic trim removal tool to help pry it up.
- Once all the clips are removed, lift off the door panel.
