1. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. It is located in the engine compartment, on the driver's side of the vehicle. The reservoir is a translucent plastic container with a black cap.
2. Remove the cap of the brake fluid reservoir.
3. Check the level of brake fluid in the reservoir. The fluid should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the side of the reservoir.
4. If the brake fluid level is low, add enough brake fluid to bring it up to the "MAX" mark.
5. Replace the cap of the brake fluid reservoir.
6. Test the brakes by applying them firmly. The brakes should feel firm and responsive.
Note: Be sure to use the correct type of brake fluid for your Honda CR-V. This information is found in your vehicle's owner's manual.
