2. Remove the two bolts using a screwdriver or socket wrench.
3. Once the bolts are removed, grip the door handle and gently pull it away from the door. It may be necessary to use a little force to break the seal between the handle and the door.
4. Lift the door handle upwards until 1/2 of it is out of the window frame, then slowly move the handle to a 45-degree angle.
5. Unclip the door handle linkage and set aside.
6. Remove the two screws that hold the door handle escutcheon in place. The escutcheon is the trim piece that surrounds the door handle.
7. Install the new escutcheon by lining it up with the screw holes and inserting the screws.
8. Slide the new door handle into the slot in the door frame, making sure that the linkage is properly seated.
9. Press down on the door handle until it is flush with the door frame.
10. Insert the two bolts that hold the door handle in place and tighten them using a screwdriver or socket wrench.
