- Flat head screw driver
- Phillips head screwdriver
- 10 mm socket wrench
- 12 mm socket wrench
1. Open the rear lift gate.
2. Remove the two Philips-head screws that secure the license plate light housing in place.
3. Pull the light housing straight out from the liftgate.
4. Remove the two Phillips-head screws that secure the license plate panel to the liftgate.
5. Use a flat head screw driver to pry open the plastic grommets of the 2 plastic body plugs (one on each side).
6. Remove the 2 plastic body plugs.
7. Use the 10mm socket wrench to loosen the 6 nuts holding the license plate bracket to the liftgate.
8. Remove the nuts and license plate bracket.
9. Remove the 2 bolts holding the license plate panel to the license plate bracket.
10. Pull the license plate panel straight out from the liftgate.
