How do you bleed the hydraulic clutch on 1996 Toyota tacoma 4x4?

To bleed the hydraulic clutch on a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, follow these steps:

Locate the clutch master cylinder. It is usually located on the firewall in the engine compartment.

Remove the cap from the master cylinder.

Check the fluid level in the master cylinder. If it is low, add enough new fluid to bring it to the proper level.

Have an assistant depress the clutch pedal all the way to the floor.

While the pedal is depressed, open the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. The slave cylinder is located on the transmission bell housing.

Close the bleeder valve when you see bubbles coming out of the fluid.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you see no more bubbles coming out of the fluid.

Top up the fluid level in the master cylinder to the proper level.

Replace the cap on the master cylinder.

Test the clutch pedal to make sure that it is firm.

If the clutch pedal is still soft, repeat steps 3-7.
