How to replace seats in a Kia Sportage?

Step 1: Gather the necessary tools and materials.

- New car seats

- Socket wrench

- Ratchet

- Extension bar

- Torx bits (T30 and T40)

- Flat-head screwdriver

- Pliers

- Wire cutters

- Electrical tape

Step 2: Remove the old seats.

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. This will prevent the airbags from deploying accidentally.

2. Remove the front seats. There are four bolts holding each seat in place. Two are located at the front of the seat and two are located at the back. Use a socket wrench and ratchet to remove the bolts.

3. Remove the rear seats. The rear seats are held in place by two bolts and two plastic clips. Use a socket wrench and ratchet to remove the bolts and a flat-head screwdriver to pry up the plastic clips.

Step 3: Install the new seats.

1. Place the new front seats in the car. Make sure that the seats are aligned properly with the bolt holes.

2. Insert the bolts and tighten them using a socket wrench and ratchet.

3. Place the new rear seats in the car. Make sure that the seats are aligned properly with the bolt holes and plastic clips.

4. Insert the bolts and tighten them using a socket wrench and ratchet.

5. Snap the plastic clips into place.

Step 4: Reconnect the negative battery terminal.

Step 5: Test the seats.

1. Sit in the driver's seat and make sure that the seat is properly adjusted.

2. Move the seat forward and back, and up and down.

3. Make sure that the seat belt is properly fastened.

4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the passenger seat and rear seats.

Step 6: Enjoy your new seats!
