* Wiring harness
* Drill
* 1/4-inch drill bit
* Wire stripper
* Crimpers

Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Locate the tachometer signal wire. This wire is usually located in the engine bay near the distributor. It may be a white wire with a black stripe.
3. Cut the tachometer signal wire, strip the ends of the wire, and connect one end of the provided wiring harness to each of the cut wires.
4. Connect the other end of the tachometer signal wire to the tachometer input on the aftermarket tachometer.
5. Connect the positive and ground wires of the tachometer to the corresponding terminals on the battery or a 12-volt power source.
6. Position the tachometer in the desired location on the dashboard and make any necessary mounting adjustments.
7. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
8. Test the tachometer to ensure it is working properly.
Note: If your Nissan 300ZX is a non-turbo model, you will need to add an additional resistor to the tachometer circuit to ensure an accurate reading. The value of this resistor will depend on the specific tachometer used.
