-Lug wrench
-Jack and jack stands
-Breaker bar or long-handled wrench
-Ratchet and socket set
-C-clamp or large pliers
Instructions:
1. Park your truck on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
2. Chock the front wheels to prevent the truck from rolling.
3. Jack up the rear of the truck until the tire is off the ground.
4. Remove the lug nuts and take off the wheel.
5. Remove the caliper bracket bolts and take off the caliper.
6. Use a C-clamp or large pliers to compress the brake piston back into the caliper.
7. Remove the two rotor retaining screws.
8. Pull the rotor off of the hub.
Tips:
- If the rotor is stuck, you can use a hammer to gently tap it loose.
- Be careful not to damage the brake caliper when removing it.
- Make sure to compress the brake piston back into the caliper before reinstalling the rotor.
- Tighten the rotor retaining screws to the specified torque.
