How do you remove the exterior door handle on an Audi tt?

To Remove the Exterior Door Handle on an Audi TT (8J series)

1. Open the door and remove the door card.

2. Locate the three bolts holding the door handle in place

They are located on the back of the door handle.

3. Remove the three bolts and pull the door handle out.

4. Remove the retaining clips securing the handle mechanism.

5. Remove the door handle mechanism.

6. Push the new door handle mechanism firmly back into the slot making note of the plastic clips.

7. Replace the retaining clips securing the handle mechanism in place.

8. Replace the door handle.

9. Replace the three bolts holding the door handle in place.

10. Reconnect the electrical wiring

11. Reinstall the door card
