1. Remove the two screws that secure the step pad to the bumper with a Phillips head screwdriver.
2. Gently pry up the step pad with a flat-head screwdriver or a plastic pry tool to release the clips holding it in place.
3. Continue prying up the step pad until it comes off the bumper.
4. Clean the surface of the bumper where the step pad was attached, removing any dirt or debris.
To reinstall the step pad, follow these steps:
1. Position the step pad over the mounting holes on the bumper.
2. Insert the two screws removed earlier through the mounting holes and tighten them with a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Press down on the step pad until it snaps into place.
