1. Open the rear hatch.
* Lift the hatch release handle located in the roof console near the rearview mirror.
* Lift the rear hatch until it is fully open.
2. Locate the wiper arm nut.
* The wiper arm nut is located at the base of the wiper arm, where it attaches to the pivot shaft.
3. Loosen the wiper arm nut.
* Use a wrench to loosen the wiper arm nut.
* Do not remove the nut completely.
4. Lift the wiper arm off the pivot shaft.
* Once the wiper arm nut is loose, you can lift the wiper arm off the pivot shaft.
* Be careful not to drop the wiper arm.
5. Remove the old wiper blade.
* Slide the old wiper blade out of the wiper arm.
6. Insert the new wiper blade.
* Slide the new wiper blade into the wiper arm.
* Make sure that the wiper blade is properly seated in the arm.
7. Tighten the wiper arm nut.
* Use a wrench to tighten the wiper arm nut.
* Do not overtighten the nut.
8. Test the wiper.
* Turn on the rear window wiper to test the new wiper blade.
* Make sure that the wiper blade wipes the rear window evenly and smoothly.
