1. Turn on the ignition, but DO NOT start the engine.
2. Press and hold the ABS button for 5 seconds.
3. The ABS light will begin to flash.
4. Count the number of times the ABS light flashes.
5. The number of flashes corresponds to the ABS fault code.

1 flash: Open or short circuit in the rear left wheel speed sensor
2 flashes: Open or short circuit in the rear right wheel speed sensor
3 flashes: Open or short circuit in the front left wheel speed sensor
4 flashes: Open or short circuit in the front right wheel speed sensor
5 flashes: Malfunction in the ABS control unit
6 flashes: Malfunction in the hydraulic modulator
7 flashes: Low brake fluid level
8 flashes: Faulty ABS pump
