How do you fix a sicky and not returning clutch pedal on 1993 Nissan sentra?

1. Check the clutch master cylinder fluid level. If the fluid level is low, add more fluid and pump the clutch pedal several times to bleed the system.

2. Inspect the clutch master cylinder for leaks. If there are any leaks, replace the master cylinder.

3. Check the clutch slave cylinder for leaks. If there are any leaks, replace the slave cylinder.

4. Check the clutch return spring. If the spring is broken or damaged, replace it.

5. Inspect the clutch cable. If the cable is frayed or damaged, replace it.

6. Adjust the clutch pedal free play. The free play should be between 1/2 inch and 1 inch.

If you have checked all of these things and the clutch pedal is still sticky and not returning, you may need to have the clutch replaced.
