How do you change the headlight bulb on a 2003 Honda CR-V?

To change the headlight bulb on a 2003 Honda CR-V, follow these steps:

Park your vehicle in a safe location, and turn off the engine.

Locate the headlight assembly that you need to access. The headlights are located behind clear plastic covers on the front of your vehicle.

Open the hood of your vehicle. Look for the two release levers located near the front of the engine compartment. Pull these levers to release the hood, then lift it up and secure it with the prop rod.

Remove the plastic cover by turning the quarter-turn fastener on the top of the assembly counterclockwise. (In some CR-V models, the plastic cover is held in place by plastic tabs. If your vehicle has plastic tabs, use a flathead screwdriver to pry the tabs loose.)

Unplug the electrical connector from the back of the headlight bulb. To do this, simply squeeze the release tabs on the sides of the connector and pull it straight out.

Remove the old headlight bulb by turning the bulb counterclockwise and pulling it out of the socket.

Insert the new headlight bulb into the socket. Make sure that the new bulb is properly seated in the socket.

Reconnect the electrical connector by pushing it into place until it clicks into position.

Replace the plastic cover and close the hood of your car.
